AQUAMAN - director pic marks first day of filming for DC saga

Director James Wan shared a pic from the set of Aquaman - the long-awaited superhero saga starring Jason Momoa.

Aquaman hits theaters December 21, 2018.

Momoa is joined in the DC Extended Universe movie by cast-mates Amber Heard as Mera, Queen of Atlantis, and Yahya Abdul-Mateen II as Black Manta.

Note: "Ahab" is Aquaman's working title.
