A new article in Empire magazine has revealed more info on Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. In the DC superhero saga Gal Gadot plays Diana Prince / Wonder Woman, and there's a lot of mystery about the icon's backstory. However, we now know one important fact about Wonder Woman - her age.

It looks like Batman will not be the senior member of the cinematic Justice League, because Wonder Woman will have Bats beat by a few centuries.

We've learned via the Empire article Wonder Woman is about 5,000 years old and has been retired from superhero life for decades when Batman v Superman opens.
