According to Bad Taste, an Italian press outlet reports the sequel to 2012's 'The Avengers' will film scenes at Bard Fortress in the Aosta Valley, located in northwestern Italy. The report doesn't specify what the fortress will be used for, but one possibility is the headquarters of the villain played by Thomas Kretschmann - Baron Strucker. The fortress definitely looks like the type of place a ruthless Nazi villain would set up shop - don't ya think?

'Avengers: Age of Ultron' is set to begin filming in March, and the movie opens on May 1, 2015.
