Has The New Batman Costume Been Revealed?

Hey guys, I just have a little Batman news to pass along today. Rumors have surfaced about the new Batsuit that Ben Affleck will don in 'Batman Vs. Superman'. According to CBM, the cowl and mask will be based on the design in the 2011 graphic novel Batman: Noel. I haven't read the book, but I like the design that artist Lee Bermejo came up with. I think it would look really cool on screen.

A report also says the Batmobile is currently being designed by General Motors - at the company's Advanced Design Studio in North Hollywood, California. Will it look like the 'Tumbler' from 'The Dark Knight Trilogy'? Nope. According to an anonymous source, It'll have a completely new design, but it'll be a real, functional vehicle just like the Tumbler was.

Whaddya think? Are you glad they're going with a different Batsuit design?

X-Men: Days of Future Past - First Trailer Arrives Online

We've been treated to a 7 second teaser, and then got a look at some cool photos, but today's the big day for 'X-Men: Days of Future Past'. Fox has unveiled the first full trailer for the soon-to-be-epic from director Bryan Singer! Yep, we get our first substantial look at the movie that unites the original X-Men trilogy cast with their younger selves from 'X-Men: First Class'.

In his Twitter chat yesterday, Singer mentioned that the tone of 'DoFP' is darker than any other X-Men movie, and that definitely comes across in the trailer. The director also said this first trailer is light on visual effects because they're still adding those elements to the film.

Here's the official description from 20th Century Fox -

"The ultimate X-Men ensemble fights a war for the survival of the species across two time periods in X-MEN: DAYS OF FUTURE PAST. The beloved characters from the original "X-Men" film trilogy join forces with their younger selves from "X-Men: First Class," in an epic battle that must change the past -- to save our future."

Watch The Epic Fan-Made Trailer For The 'Aquaman' Movie

Adventure Comics - 443 (1976) - (Wikipedia)
As of today, there's still no word from Warner Bros. about whether or not Aquaman will be included in their rebooted movie universe. However, that didn't stop one fan from going ahead and making a kickass trailer for the King of Atlantis' film debut.

This 3 minute trailer was created by the same guy that made the truly awesome Wonder Woman trailer I shard last week. This new video follows the same sort of mythic tone that the WW trailer had, but I'm not sure if it works as well. It definitely presents an Aquaman who could fit into the 'Man of Steel' movie universe - I'm just not sure if audiences would buy it.

Have a look and let me know what you think.
