Marvel fans, you might have even more to get excited about in the near future if this rumor is true. Nellie Andreeva of Deadline is reporting that Marvel is in the early stages of developing 4 ongoing series, plus a mini-series, which all together would total 60 episodes.
Andreeva says that everyone involved in these deals is, of course, tight-lipped about the projects. However she does report that these shows could possibly wind up on 'video on demand' sites, such as Netflix and Amazon. This news comes on the heels of reports that 'Marvel's Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D.' has gotten a full 22 episode order from ABC. Also - an earlier rumor stated that Marvel is developing a TV series starring S.H.I.E.L.D. agent Peggy Carter - Hayley Atwell's character in 'Captain America: The First Avenger'.
Check out the Deadline report at the link below, and I also posted a video from IGN that summarizes the report.
