Stop PIPA / SOPA!

I'm posting this on my site Wednesday, January 18 to protest the proposed legislation in the United States - the Stop Online Piracy Act (SOPA) in the U.S. House of Representatives and the PROTECTIP Act (PIPA) in the U.S. Senate.

I support the following statement from Google, and if you are a U.S. citizen, I encourage you to sign the "Stop PIPA/SOPA" petition here

"Fighting online piracy is important. The most effective way to shut down pirate websites is through targeted legislation that cuts off their funding. There’s no need to make American social networks, blogs and search engines censor the Internet or undermine the existing laws that have enabled the Web to thrive, creating millions of U.S. jobs."
