Thanks to the nice folks at ReelzChannel, we got a heads up on some fantastic concept art for Thor, that was released in the last few days. Two artists have posted images on their websites that will be of interest to anyone who likes the film and wants to see the inspiration for some of the key scenes.

The Frost Giant image above is by the German artist, Michael Kutsche, who, according to his bio, is self-taught and whose work can be described as "...an astoundingly life-like depiction of parallel realities, populated by odd characters, reminiscent of movies, comics but also Flemish Renaissance Painting."

Craig Shoji is another artist who helped create the world of the Norse gods' home, Asgard. Shoji has 40 images on his website that give us an idea of how the other-worldly architecture and landscapes of Thor came into being. The image below is a sample of his work.
